📢 Important Info

We are still hoping for more Family Donations! So far we have raised $ 12,500 from 20% of our families. We would love to see us at 100% participation. No amount is too small. Remember this money is used to cover Fieldwork costs for all of our students, so please donate today! Thank you!

📆 Our Schedule This Week

Monday: Make Up Picture Day/All School Photo ~ POSTPONED due to weather! Will now take place next Tuesday, October 21.
Tuesday: All School Assembly ~ 9:15am in School Gym. Wish Support Teacher Michelle Diaz a very Happy Birthday!
Thursday: SELS PTC Meeting ~ 5:30 pm at the Lodge in Tahoe Donner.
Friday: Summit Day! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and conditions. Pack a water bottle and a big, healthy lunch for your child. Just a reminder that we are off campus all day, so please be on time for school. Also, the office will be locked while we are gone, so you will not be able to sign students in or out at school for appointments while we are off campus.
Sunday: Wish me a Happy Birthday! (This is also my way of checking to see how many people are reading the SELS Weekly! Haha!😉).

10/20-10/24: Minimum Day Week/Goal Setting Conferences (Middle School release 11:45 am; Elementary school release 1:00 pm - this information is also available on the Quick Reference Sheet from the Family Handbook). **Please note there is NO Homework Club during Minimum Day Week due to Conferences.**

Big Truck Day

11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Bring your child(ren) of any age by the Town Corporation Yard (beside the new Forest Service building on Stockrest Springs Rd.) for a hands-on, up close day with heavy equipment. Click here for more info!
 
 
 
 
 

💡 Reminders

  • All SELS visitors, classroom volunteers, chaperones and drivers on fieldwork MUST check in at the office to receive a badge. You need to bring your driver’s license with you. Feel free to ask anyone in the office if you need assistance with this process.

  • Scholarship Opportunity: PTC Scholarships are available for students that qualify for Free & Reduced services to participate in extracurricular activities. The scholarships can help pay for the costs of after school lessons and activities. To be eligible, families must have proof from the district that they qualify for Free and Reduced services. See application below for more information about the program. We also have hard copies available in the office.
