📢 Important Info

❄️We have a Toys for Tots bin outside of the Office to collect new, unwrapped toys and a gently-used coat bin for Truckee Community Cares. They could really use as much support as possible this year, so please help if you can! Donations will be accepted until December 11.❄️
 

📆 Our Schedule This Week

Monday: Wish Spanish Teacher Tiffany Pearson a very Happy Birthday!
Thursday: SELS PTC Meeting ~ 5:30pm at The Lodge in Tahoe Donner.
Monday, 11/24: Wish Support Teacher Katie Buell a very Happy Birthday!

Reminder: No School next week 11/24-11/28 for Thanksgiving Break.
 

📆 Mark Your Calendar

11/24-11/28: Thanksgiving Break ~ Reminder: we have the entire week off for Thanksgiving Break.
12/1: SELS Board Meeting ~ 5:30pm in Conference Room A at the District Office.
12/9: Community Meeting ~ 9:15am in the SELS Gym.
12/10: Minimum Day ~ Middle school release 11:45 am; Elementary school release 1:00 pm (this information is also available on the Quick Reference Sheet from the Family Handbook).
12/16: Math Morning ~ Middle School Math Morning 7:30-8:10; Elementary Math Morning 9:10-9:50. Please stay after drop-off and join your child in their classroom. You will participate in math activities with your child in their classroom. This will be "open house" style, so families are able to visit each of their children's classrooms during the 40-minute window. 
12/22-1/2 ~ Winter Break.

Soroptimist of Truckee Donner is continuing our tradition of hosting our Soroptishop Holiday Artisan Faire. Start your shopping early for local artwork, jewelry, pottery, clothes, cosmetics, herbals, handcrafts, hand blown glass and much more! Over 50 local and small business artisans participating.

Scholarship Opportunity: PTC Scholarships are available for students that qualify for Free & Reduced services to participate in extracurricular activities. The scholarships can help pay for the costs of after school lessons and activities. To be eligible, families must have proof from the district that they qualify for Free and Reduced services. See application below for more information about the program. We also have hard copies available in the office.
